Start your Voyage - Apply Now Get To Know the OpportunityThis role will oversee delivery and execute upon business prioritized key IT projects. Primarily responsible for providing guidance and structure to project teams, serving as a Scrum Master for cross functional Digital development teams, coordinating group work and ensuring appropriate communications to business and/or IT stakeholders. May contribute as a consultant level analyst or technical resource as appropriate. The scope of managed programs and projects include multi-million dollar efforts which may be delivered through a collection of teams across Voya and/or a team of contracted resources. The Contributions You Will Make

• Acts as the Agile Servant Leader to multiple teams by facilitating decision making, escalation, risks and issues, mentoring and training.
• Focuses team on delivering priority/valuable items and actively gets the team to identify and remove impediments and protects team from outside influences and distractions.
• Utilizes Coach and existing training materials to educate and inform teams as to Agile processes, tools and values.
• Mentors Associate Scrum Masters on Agile practices and values and provides support with the prioritization process.
• Communicates effectively internally with team and externally with leaders.
• Facilitates effectively the story point estimation process, Daily Scrum meeting, Sprint Planning and actively participates in Scrum Master Community of Practice.
• Readily seeks learning opportunities to improve knowledge about organization and methodologies.
• Displays mastery of project management software (such as VersionOne) and actively coaches/mentors others in use of the tools as necessary.
• Drive analysis, design, technical, testing or operational specifications developed by project team. Ensure the final work product meets all quality standards and aligns with business goals.
• Perform as a consultant level IT sub-discipline individual contributor, as appropriate.
• Coordinate work across multiple work teams; develop, update, and implement contingencies for multiple teams to meet changing project or service needs.
• Partner with IT resource manager on anticipated changing resource needs and resource assessment/performance. Replace/upskill poor performing teams, manage out poor performance of contracted resources.
• Partner closely with IT management to align resource capacity and demand requirements.
• Oversee financial management of FTE and vendor expenses associated with projects, programs, and processes. Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Effectively manage relationships and delivery with external vendor partners. Identify and remove roadblocks, escalate issues through proper management channels when resource deliverables are not in alignment with expectations or contract. Ability to drive team efficiencies & effective partnerships.
• Manage to terms of SOW; holding partner and Voya accountable for milestones including technical delivery. Manage projects, programs or processes and apply work methods to adapt to changing conditions consistent with Voya-prescribed methodologies and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a directly related field and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Ten years of progressively responsible experience in IT.
  • Demonstrated success in project execution with involvement in multiple major projects or a sustained record of success as an IT services provider.Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. $111,150 - $165,110 USDBe Well. Stay Well.
