Job Description:

**This work location is a home office. Any qualified U.S. worker will be

permitted to work out of a home office within the same Metropolitan

Statistical Area

Will lead a consulting team in the analysis, development, and delivery

of software applications to meet client expectations and requirements.

Will investigate current business processes to identify problems,

complexities, non-value-added steps, and inefficiencies for improvement.

Will support the development of written specifications (such as system

description documents and use case documents) to capture business

process requirements. Will assign tasks to project members and review

the team’s work products to ensure accuracy and consistency. Will lead

the analysis and documentation of customer requirements and contribute

to the design and delivery of solutions. Will develop and maintain

relationships with clients and cross-functional groups to ensure multi-

level alignment in with respect to projects and programs. Will provide

input into future software functionality, implementation methodology,

configuration, and customization standards. Will represent the Design

and Deployment team concerning project governance activities and provide

recommendations and risk assessment information in support of decision-

making. Will optimize ways in which information technology supports

business goals within and across customer organizations and in

accordance with an established road map. Will plan, analyze, build, and

test solutions from end-to-end based on multiple solutions to meet

client needs and to understand client customer challenges. Will promote

the use of the Global Services portfolio to expand value opportunities.

Will provide strategic feedback to Product and Solution Management

concerning clients’ most effective use solutions can be most effectively

used by clients while providing the greatest revenue.

Up to 70% domestic travel required, often on short notice.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Management Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain

Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related

field plus 5 years of experience performing after-market service,

service parts management, inventory management, or supply chain

management.

OR, in the alternative:

Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Management Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain

Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related

field and 3 years of experience performing after-market service, service

parts management, inventory management, or supply chain management.

Special Requirements:

(1) Demonstrated expertise in the architectural design and

implementation of re-usable software components for multi-tier web-based

service suite systems;

(2) Demonstrated expertise using Java, J2EE technologies, Web Logic, Web

Sphere, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle to develop and deploy efficient

SLM applications on Windows and UNIX platforms;

(3) Demonstrated experience providing coaching to other implementation

professionals in the analysis, deployment, and delivery of software

applications to meet client needs.
